DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced English Language professional to join our Language Qualifications team and support primarily our suite of English Language exams.
In this interesting and varied role, you will actively promote our exams by providing academic support at B2B and B2C levels. You are an articulate speaker of English (native speaker level) with exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a persistent willingness to work with our partners and provide support. You have a considerable insight in designing and delivering exam preparation programmes and a genuine interest in the assessment & certification market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide support and training to language teachers preparing candidates for GrowSkills English exams
- Design and produce exam preparation materials
- Deliver presentations privately and/or at commercial events
- Act as a point of reference for academic & administrative issues
- Liaise with the Language Qualifications Department on matters relating to the conduct of English language examinations
- Ensure high quality services to our customers
- Implement the policies and procedures of GrowSkills's Quality Management Systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient speaker of English (level C2+)
- Prior public speaking experience is strongly preferred
- Degree in Applied Linguistics/English/Education or similar; a Masters' degree in a related field is highly desirable
- TEFL qualification (CELTA, DELTA, CertTESOL) or similar
- Significant and relevant ESOL/EFL experience
- Knowledge of the International certification market will be considered an asset
- Extensive experience in preparing candidates for English language exams (i.e good working knowledge of the City & Guilds suite of ESOL exams and GrowSkills Examination Institute ) will be an advantage
- Experience of meeting deadlines across multiple activities and eye for detail are essential
- Adaptable, a quick learner, and comfortable with data and technology
- Team player and individual contributor
- Strong MsOffice skills. ECDL Core/Expert certification will be considered an asset.
